General Waste bins are a staple for business and household waste collection schedules; however, General Waste bins are commonly over utilised for their simplicity and many of the items disposed have recyclable value. Redooo approaches waste management with the aim of reducing your General Waste bin's requirements and size, while gradually increasing recycling rates within your home or business.

Redooo utilises an advanced network of contractors able to sort and recover core materials incorrectly disposed of in your General Waste receptacles. While this process is not an exact science and Redooo encourages correct disposal whenever possible, we are always looking for technological advancements in the waste industry to better process General Waste.

Redooo offers a number of services designed to reduce the amount of waste heading to landfill including Green waste (Garden Waste), Food WasteTimber Waste, and E-Waste (Electronics Recycling).

Commonly referred to as your households or businesses yellow lid bin, commingled recyclables is a term best described as a blend of common household and workplace bottles, jars, cans, tins, and other recyclable products. When correctly disposed of, these products are sent to a processing facility and sorted into the appropriate waste streams so they can be recycled.

Commingled waste can be segregated further and where possible businesses are encouraged to utilise our other recycling services like paper and cardboard, plastic, and our container collection service (Container Deposit Scheme). This product stewardship scheme includes most soft drink, pre-mixed alcohol, beer, cider and water bottles and cans displaying the refund mark. These services are all designed to reduce the amount of recyclable and treatable waste that ends up in landfill.
