Other Hazardous Waste Waste

Other Hazardous Waste

Hazardous wastes are items than cannot be disposed of via your general waste bins as they require a much higher level of management and may present an impact to health or the environment if disposed of incorrectly. Also known as regulated waste, controlled waste or prescribed waste, hazardous waste requires proper identification and classification as well as transport and disposal by a correctly licensed waste transporter and disposal facility. This waste includes asbestos waste, quarantine or biosecurity waste, chemicals, toxic waste, heavy metal impacted wastes, drum contaminated with hazardous wastes, fuels, oils and lubricants, coolant, batteries, acid, aerosols, pesticides, paint and solvents or anything considered toxic to humans, animals or to the environment. Correct disposal ensures items are disposed safely to avoid environmental harm. Contact us today to discuss your hazardous, regulated and asbestos disposal requirements.
